CHICAGO — Officers are warning Northwest Side residents after a teenage girl was groped in Albany Park Monday night on her way home.

Around 8:45 p.m., the 13-year-old girl was walking home from a friend's home in the 3700 block of West Ainslie Street when a man approached her from behind and spoke in Spanish before groping her, police said.

The girl screamed and the man ran into an alley, police said.

According to police, the man was Hispanic, stood about 5-feet-5 and weighed about 150 pounds. The man had black hair, a dark complexion and was wearing a black and red knit cap, a black jacket and shiny dark athletic pants.
