CHICAGO — Fire crews responded to multi-alarm fire in an Old Town high-rise apartment building Sunday evening.

Flames were visible from the upper floors of 1540 N. LaSalle St., fire officials said. The fire was contained to the 19th floor of the 24-story building.

Crews responded to the fire around 5 p.m. The Fire Department tweeted the blaze was extinguished by 5:08 p.m.

The fire was caused by a furnace problem, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported.
