FAR NORTH SIDE — No New Year's Eve plans? These neighborhood bars and restaurants have you covered.

Here are some highlights of what the Far North Side has to offer.

Revival Social Club: The new restaurant and bar at 1133 W. Granville Ave. plans to throw a party from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. to ring in the new year. Then, on New Year's Day, it will host a white-elephant-gift brunch sure to help cure a hangover. A full New Year's Eve dinner, including a prix fixe menu, will be served 6-10:30 p.m.

Hard Water Bar and Grill: The also new restaurant and bar that replaced Rollands at 7545 N. Clark St. is hosting a party called "The Great Drinksby! A Roaring '20s Themed NYE Bash That We Will Never Forget!" But if enough "Drinksby" is had, you might have a foggy memory of this one. Organizers encourage attendees to dress in 1920s attire: fedoras, pin-stripped suits, zoot suits, feather boas, sequin dresses, etc. The party kicks off at 9 p.m. and ends at 4 a.m. Tickets are $35 online or $45 at the door. There's also a VIP party package available for four or more people, starting at $140, that includes admission, a reserved table and bottle of champagne.

Bullhead Cantina: The taqueria at 1406 W. Morse Ave. intends to keep revelers' bellies full this New Year's Eve. For $75 ($85 at door), attendees can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet and all-you-can-drink beer and mixed drinks. RSVP by Dec. 24 to lock down the deal. The party begins at 9 p.m.

Red Line Tap: The celebration at the tap, 7006 N. Glenwood Ave., is free. The venue's stage will feature Gramps The Vamp, Service Industry and DJ Erik Friedly. There will also be drink specials and champagne at midnight.

Uncommon Ground: The restaurant at 1401 W. Devon Ave. offers a few options to celebrate the new year. Late-night dance and drinking packages begin at $35 per person, up to $55 per person, including all you can eat buffet, open bar, champagne toast "the sounds of super funky dance bands" from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., according to organizers.
