CHICAGO — Austin residents are invited to the North Austin library branch Monday for a night of crafts.

The event "Space Crafts" is a drop-in event geared toward kids ages five and up. That goes from 5-6 p.m.

From 6 to 7:30 p.m. is "Family Crochet," a beginner's class that will allow attendees the skills necessary to make together holiday gifts.

The workshops at the library, 5724 W. North Ave., are free.
