By Alex Parker | December 21, 2014 4:42pm

CHICAGO — Police said a man asked a girl if she had any friends who would date him in a child-luring incident Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred in the 1400 block of South Christiana Street about 1:50 p.m., police said.

A man in a green older-model minivan pulled alongside a juvenile female walking on the sidewalk and asked if she had any friends who would date him or if she wanted to make some money.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 40-50 years old, with receding black hair combed back, a medium complexion, an earring in his right ear, wearing a black shirt and black vest. The minivan has rust spots and an Illinois license plate, police said.

Anyone with information can call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
