WEST LOOP — Kids hoping to get one last gift request in with Santa Claus can ask him in person at the Chicago French Market Saturday.

At Jinglefest, children can have their photos taken with Santa and decorate Christmas cookies from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the market, 131 N. Clinton St. in the West Loop. The event is free.

Cookie decorating is sponsored by Vanille Patisserie.

The French Market's Marche de Noel also continues, bringing the spirit of a traditional French Christmas Market to the neighborhood. The holiday market brings together rotating visiting artisans selling unique holiday gifts. Items include jewelry, wall decor, photographs, toys and more.

The Marche de Noel market continues through Tuesday and is open 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. daily.
