HYDE PARK — The Promontory will host a combination crafts fair and farmers market on Sunday for last-minute holiday shopping.

The restaurant and music venue at 5311 S. Lake Park Ave. will host farmers and crafters from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in the second floor ballroom.

Double Stitch Twins and Anointed Loops will offer hand-woven scarves and shawls, Susan Carton will have custom cards and the Refromed School will offer bow ties, among other artisans offering jewelry, pottery and hats.

Community gardeners from farms like the Envision Chicago plots in Gresham will join stalwarts of the 61st Street Farmers Market like Videnovich Farms to offer honey, organic meats and late-season vegetables.

Admission to the market is free and open to the public.
