WICKER PARK — Though Wicker Park's main hub of Milwaukee, Avenue and North avenues has no shortage of doughnut and coffee shops, a new 24-hour Dunkin' Donuts scheduled to open Thursday could be a draw for late-night revelers and wee early risers seeking a caffeine jolt.

Located in a former Currency Exchange at 1938 W. North Ave, the new Dunkin' Donuts is planning to open at 4 a.m. Thursday.  After the opening morning, the shop will remain open all day, manager Alex Sanchez said.

"I'm excited about working in Wicker Park. I have been here to hang out before," said Sanchez, who will work with a team of 14 full- and part-time employees.

The new Dunkin' Donuts, owned by franchisee Karim Khoja, is the area's fourth, joining other Dunkin' Donut outposts at 1651 N. Western Ave., 2111 W. Division St., and 1244 N Ashland Ave.
