Chicago Ornithological Society Bird Watching at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, 7-9 a.m.

Explore the bird life around North Pond with Geoffrey Williamson of the Chicago Ornithological Society. After the observation head inside for coffee and discussion. Dress appropriately and bring binoculars for the free event.

Nature Nuts! at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, 10-11 a.m.

Explore the Nature Museum through outdoor walks, hands-on crafts, song and stories. Dress for the weather and dress to get messy. The class is $10 for members and their children or $15 for non-members and their children.

Bjork Double Feature at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

Wednesday night at Lincoln Hall catch "Bjork: Biophilia Live" and "When Bjork Met Attenborough."

Plants in Pencils at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, 6-9 p.m.

Head to the Nature Museum for a class in illustration with a graphite pencil. The class will discuss materials and techniques while introducing you to new specimens weekly. The class costs $30.
