Women's Business Development Center to Host Workshop in Roseland

GRAND CROSSING — A free financial workshop for entrepreneurial women is scheduled for Wednesday in Roseland.

In a collaboration with the Chicago Neighborhood Initiative Micro Finance Group, the Women's Business Development Center will host "Connecting to Cash," an outreach event for prospective and established business owners on accessing capital for entrepreneurs.

The organization, which aims to provide services to accelerate women's business ownership, will host the event from 6-8 p.m. in Chicago State University's Academic Library Sun Room on the 4th Floor at 9501 S. King Drive.

The event is free, but organizers are requiring guests to register.
