LINCOLN SQUARE — Hanukkah celebrations, often dwarfed in the run up to Christmas, take center stage at Fountainhead during Eight Beery Nights.

Chef Cleetus Friedman teamed up with the guys at Begyle to brew Dr. Dreidel's Imperial Chanukah Porter, which the restaurant, 1970 W. Montrose Ave., will tap Tuesday to coincide with the first night of the Festival of Lights.

Seven variations of the brew will then be unveiled, one each night, through Dec. 24.

The beers, in order: Dr. Dreidel's base beer; coffee bean variation; cayenne pepper; chai; malted milk; marshmallow, graham cracker and chocolate; vanilla bean and cinnamon; and nitro.

There will also be a menorah lighting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Lincoln Square's Giddings Plaza, 4731 N. Lincoln Ave.
