BRIDGEPORT — The holidays are typically a time to reflect on the past, but the next installment of Story Club South Side is all about the future.

The theme for the monthly Bridgeport storytelling jam is "Things That May or May Not Happen in the Future" and will feature three professional storytellers and two open mic slots for anyone who wants to get on stage.

It's scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. at Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S. Morgan St.

Scheduled to appear are actress Maura Clement, activist Bill Drew and stand-up comic Kirsten Clifford. The open mic participants will have eight minutes to tell their story, which doesn't have to follow the theme.

Open mic sign-up starts at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Suggested donation for entry is $10. The event is BYOB.
