WICKER PARK —  The beloved CTA holiday train will be making stops along the Blue Line in Wicker Park and Logan Square this weekend, with the exception of the Damen station, which is closed for renovations until Dec. 22.

Decked out with holiday decorations including multi-colored lights, garland and bows, the six-car train car — which smells like cinnamon — is scheduled to run on the Blue Line from 4:15 -7:15 p.m. Friday and 3:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Saturday.

The train will travel along all eight CTA lines at varying times and continuing through late December as part of regular rail service.

According to Friday's O'Hare to Forest Park schedule, the Holiday Train will stop at the Western "L" stop, 1900 N. Western Ave. at approximately 4:44 p.m. and return at 6:47 p.m.  At the Division "L" Station, 1200 N. Milwaukee Ave., you can find the train at approx. 4:48 p.m. and returning at 6:43 p.m.

See Saturday's detailed stop schedule here.

Riders can also use the CTA Train Tracker app to find out where the Holiday Train will be at any given time, according to a CTA press release.
