NORTH CENTER — Hey Chicago beer lovers, are you ready to stand in line for another limited-edition brew?

At least at the end of this one, there's a hug waiting for you. A Big Hug.

Half Acre, 4257 N. Lincoln Ave., is releasing bottles, howlers (32 ounces) and growlers (64 ounces) of its Big Hugs beer at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

The affectionately-named imperial stout is an annual collaboration between Half Acre and Dark Matter coffee, first brewed in 2009. It packs a whopping 10 percent alcohol by volume.

Big Hugs will also be on tap at the brewery while supplies last.

Once you've picked up your stout, Half Acre is encouraging folks to stick around for an open house. Hang out amidst the brewing tanks or in the tap room, with food provided by Baker Miller, which teased a photo on Instagram of its sourdough cinnamon roll stuffed with a Big Hugs cinnamon swirl.
