LINCOLN SQUARE — The latest version of the "Sunnyside of Lincoln" celebrates the holidays with a European flair.

The occasional Sunnyside events bring together four neighboring businesses — Bistro Campagne, Due Lire, The Grafton and Homesoul — for an evening of eating, drinking, shopping and strolling.

The newest twist, scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Monday: Guests will take a virtual tour of Europe via the participating restaurant's menu offerings, intended to reflect the holiday culinary traditions of France, Italy and Ireland:

  • Margret de Canard (French for "duck breast") is among the options at Bistro Campagne, 4518 N. Lincoln Ave.
  • The Grafton, 4530 N. Lincoln Ave., is dishing out corned beef and bread pudding. Deschutes Brewery, making its first Sunnyside appearance, will be pouring samples of its Jubelale Winter Warmer.
  • Due Lire, 4520 N. Lincoln Ave., has Zuppa di Pesce (seafood stew) and a holiday sweet bread filled with mousse and cream.

Homesoul, 4526 N. Lincoln Ave., will offer a 10 percent discount on merchandise to all Sunnyside ticketholders.

Adding to the merriment, the Lincoln Avenue Carolers will provide live holiday music.

Admission is $50 per person; tickets can be bought in advance online. The cost includes two drinks and two dishes at each restaurant. Guests are free to move back and forth between the restaurants.
