WEST TOWN — Shop local this weekend — and get some free booze and food while you're at it.

West Town's Winterfest kicks off Saturday and businesses, bars and restaurants in the neighborhood are teaming up to encourage people to do their holiday shopping in the 'hood.

Starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, Eurofurniture, 2145 W. Grand Ave., will serve as Winterfest "Headquarters," where folks can sip mulled wine and beer, browse some holiday pop-up shops and pick up tickets for the Jolly Trolley. For $10, you'll get the trolley tour and a $20 gift card to spend at the start of the new year.

The trolley, which will run at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, will cart shoppers around to five different spots, where they'll get 15-20 minutes to peruse some shops or have some free snacks and drinks at participating restaurants.

Check out the routes below, and find out more about the event here.
