CHICAGO — About 2,400 ComEd customers in Rogers Park had their Thanksgiving interrupted by a power outage, a company spokesman said.

ComEd began restoring power around 3:15 p.m., John Schoen, a spokesman for the utility.

Schoen did not know when the outage started, but Twitter users started complaining about it around 2:20 p.m.

"It's a lockout, similar to when a circuit breaker flips in a house," he said before power was restored.
