CHICAGO — Police will be targeting drunk drivers in the city's Shakespeare Police District this weekend.

The DUI Strike Force Patrol will be looking for drunk drivers in the police district that includes parts of Avondale, Bucktown, Humboldt Park, Logan Square and Ukrainian Village.

The crackdown starts at 7 p.m. Saturday, ending at 3 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Roving patrols will monitor traffic for drivers showing signs of impairment. They will also look for seatbelt and speed violations, police said.

Last weekend, the DUI Strike Force patrolled Englewood, issuing 35 citations, including 10 seatbelt violations.
