Things You Can Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town Thursday

Learn, Explore and Play at Lincoln Park Zoo, 2001 N. Clark St., 9:30-10:30 a.m.

The zoo has created an immersive playground for your young one to connect with nature through playtime. The sensory-rich play place is immersive for young ones and adults by allowing children to meet the animals, draw, build and make music on your own schedule. The 9-week session on Thursdays and Saturdays is $126, $108 for zoo members. The class is for children ages 2-3 accompanied by an adult.

Gilbert Gottfried at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., 7:30 & 9:30 p.m.

Gilbert Gottfried began doing open mics in New York at 15 and from then he was picked to be a cast member for "Saturday Night Live" in the '80s. He now regularly appears on Comedy Central's Celebrity Roasts. Tickets to the one-night only show are $25 with the purchase of two food or drink items.
