CHICAGO — A 30-year-old man was fatally shot in Englewood Monday night.

Around 7 p.m., the man was walking in the 7200 block of South Carpenter Street when someone shot him in his head, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Estrada said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, which appears to be gang related, Estrada said.
