JEFFERSON PARK — It will sound a lot like Christmas during a concert by the Anthony Kawalkowski Orchestra at the Copernicus Center.

The 7 p.m. Dec. 6 performance of "The Love and Peace of Christmas" will also include an appearance by Wayne Messmer, who became famous for his full-throated version of the National Anthem at Chicago Blackhawks games.

The concert, at the Copernicus Center, 5216 W. Lawrence Ave., will feature Christmas classics, including Silver Bells and Silent Night, Kawalkowski said,

In addition, Kawalkowski, a violinist, will lead his orchestra in sing-a-longs and direct a children's drums corp as well as youth choir.

Santa Claus is also expected to make an appearance at the concert, which has become an annual tradition.

Tickets range from $25 to $50, with discounts available for children, seniors, members of the military and groups of 10 or more.
