ROGERS PARK — Popular gay and leather bar Touché completed an overhaul of its dark wood paneling as it celebrated 37 years in business.

The bar's new facade features a new look with beige siding, new windows and eight five-point stars across the top of the two-story building at 6412 N. Clark St.

Touché owner Charles Rodocker couldn't be reach for comment, but a work permit estimated the cost of the renovations at $25,000.

The bar opened in 1977 and celebrated 37 years last week, according to a blog post on the bar's website.

"It's an accomplishment we could not have met without your support and we want to thank you in style," the post reads.
