LINCOLN SQUARE — From pop-up shops to pancake breakfasts, pub crawls to tree planting, there's lots to do this weekend in and around Lincoln Square.

Kick the weekend off with Northcenter Neighborhood Association's pub crawl on Friday night. Stops include Begyle Brewing, Rocks Northcenter and Tavern on Little Fort. Free for NNA members, $15 for non-members. Meet at Begyle, 6 p.m., 1800 W. Cuyler Ave.

Beat the Black Friday rush and get a head start on your Christmas shopping at Alapash's holiday pop-up market. Celebrate opening night, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and enjoy first pick of the handmade goods, textiles, ceramics and jewelry for sale. Nov. 15 to Dec. 30, at Gallery 19, 1967 ½ W. Montrose Ave.

Noktivo Non-Toxic Spa & Beauty Boutique is throwing itself a one-year anniversary bash and everyone's invited. The two-day event kicks off 5-10 p.m. Friday with manicures, massages, astrology readings, shopping discounts, refreshments courtesy of Flirty Cupcakes, and a chance to win mani/pedis for a year. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online. Saturday's free "Sip, Shop & Spa" day features product demonstrations and complimentary mini-services. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 4831 N. Damen Ave.

The best way to cope with the dip in temperatures? Denial. Pretend it's still summer at North Center's farmers market, still going strong. 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, 4100 N. Damen Ave.

Wanna know how stuff was printed waaaay back in the day? Starshaped Press letterpress studio is throwing open its doors at 4636 N. Ravenswood Ave., #103. Shop cards, prints and posters and try your own hand at printing. 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.

Nothing like a good carbo load in the morning to power you through an action-packed weekend. Ravenswood Fellowship United Methodist Church is hosting a pancake breakfast, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, 4511 N. Hermitage Ave. $8 for adults, $3 for kids under 10. Do it all over again Sunday, as Boy Scout Troup 894 holds an all-you-can-eat flapjack fundraiser, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Queen of Angels, 2330 W. Sunnyside Ave. $6 adults, $3 for seniors/children 3 to 10.

Ravenswood Manor got its hands on 19 trees, and it needs help planting them in the neighborhood's parkway. Register to volunteer here. Bring work gloves, sturdy shoes and water. Meet at Buffalo Park, California and Sunnyside. Treekeepers from Openlands will be leading the effort, in partnership with the Manor Garden Club and the Ravenswood Manor Improvement Association. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

For all you gluttons for punishment — people who not only enjoy running but running in the cold — Fleet Feet's "Cold, Colder, Coldest" seminar will help prepare you for winter jogging. Hint: It's all about the layers. RSVP here. The free event is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lincoln Square store, 4762 N. Lincoln Ave.
