LOGAN SQUARE — Looking for a bit of local art to add to your collection?

Neighborhood art collective Anysquared will end its residency at the Hairpin Arts Center with a public art swap from 6:30-10 p.m. Saturday at the Arts Center, 2810 N. Milwaukee Ave., in Avondale.

Artists and neighbors are invited to mix, mingle and swap art. In fact, the event will follow three simple rules:

• Bring a piece of art

• Grab a number

• Meet artists and swap art

A drawing will begin at 7:30 p.m. to match artists up with art up for swapping. When your number is called, select a piece from the pool of art displayed, meet the artist who you've selected and take home their work.

All artists will also have the opportunity to meet the person who gets their pieces.

The event is also open both artists and non-artists, though there’s a catch: entrance is a $2 suggested donation for guests who bring art to swap. The suggested cost is $5 for those without homemade art in tow.

Saturday’s exhibit is the final event for AnySquared's residency at the Hairpin Arts Center. AnySquared Projects is an all-volunteer collaborative artistic network, “built upon the idea that we can do anything as long as we do ourselves and do it together.”
