HYDE PARK — Police are searching for two men believed to be behind four armed robberies in Washington Park.

Police said they are looking for two men, both described as between 14 and 25 years old, 5-foot-6 and about 120 pounds.

According to police, the two men, both black, are believed to be behind four armed robberies between Oct. 22 and Nov. 4.

The men would allegedly walk up to a victim on the street and demand valuables before going through the victim’s pockets. In one instance, the victim reported being threatened with a gun.

The robberies believed to be related include 4:20 a.m. on Oct. 22 on the 100 block of West Garfield Boulevard; 11:30 p.m. on the 5100 block of South Federal Street; 9 p.m. on Nov. 1 on the 5100 block of South State Street; and 6:35 p.m. on the 5500 block of South State Street.

Police are asking anyone with information about the two men to call detectives at 312-747-8382.
