HYDE PARK — A 23-year-old man was shot in the head in Jackson Park Monday night, according to police.

Police responded to a call at 7:50 p.m. of a man who had been grazed by a bullet in the head in the 5900 block of South Cornell Avenue, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man took himself to the University of Chicago Medical Center and was listed in good condition, Sedevic said.

It was still unclear whether the man was in a car when he was shot or where the shots were fired from, according to police.
