Bronzeville Man Charged With Shooting 18-year-old Woman

CHICAGO — A Bronzeville man was charged with shooting an 18-year-old woman in Chatham in July.

Travis Dunn, 20, of the 500 block East 50th Place, was charged with a felony count of aggravated battery after police identified him in the July 8 shooting in the 900 block of East 83rd Street, police said.

Dunn opened fire on the block around 1:20 p.m. striking a woman in the back of the head after a bullet went through a rear window, police said. The woman was driven to the University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Dunn is expected in court Saturday, police said.
