WEST LOOP — A West Loop group is staging an open call for dog models to participate in a calendar shoot this weekend.

The Skinner Park Advisory Council wants pups of all sizes to participate in the 2015 West Loop Dog Calendar photo shoot this weekend. Model pups can pose from 2-4 p.m. Saturday or noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the Loomis Street Gardens at Skinner Park.

No advance sign-up is necessary for the free photo shoot at Monroe Nx Loomis streets. The portraits will be used in the 2015 calendar.

The calendar will be sold in early December for $20, with all proceeds benefiting Skinner Park and the Loomis Street Gardens.

The park advisory council has produced the West Loop dog calendar for more than a decade, according to the group.
