LAKEVIEW — Heads up: The city will start collecting bagged leaves on Monday.
Residents can call 311 anytime between Monday and Nov. 21 to request a yard waste collection, according to Ald. Tom Tunney's (44th) office.
The city is sending out trucks specifically to collect bagged leaves and yard waste in each neighborhood. A truck should come within a week of calling 311. Anyone who wants to use this service should bag leaves separately from black garbage and blue recycling bins.
