Radio Extra: Parents Worried Over Common Core Tests Find Ally in CPS Brass

CHICAGO — A group of parents concerned about standardized tests aligned with the new Common Core curriculum are hosting a series of seminars to explain their objections. 

The grassroots education group Raise Your Hand is hoping for a one year moratorium on the tests implementation in CPS schools, which is scheduled for March 2015.
