'Fall Hoptacular' to Feature Beer Lessons from Two Brothers Brewing

BRIDGEPORT — Hop heads are invited to Maria's Community Bar to learn more about the history of India pale ales and how different hops effect the taste of beer.

The "Hop on By: Fall Hoptacular" takes place 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Maria's, 960 W. 31st St. It's free to attend.

Brewers from the Warrenville-based Two Brothers Brewing Company will be on-hand to discuss hop properties like bitterness, flavor and aroma. They'll also pour samples of their Heavy Handed IPA and Wobble IPAs.
