CHICAGO — Two people were hospitalized after a shooting in Logan Square Sunday night.
Around 10:05 p.m., the two men were in the 3600 block of West McLean Avenue when they were approached by someone who asked them what gang they were in before opening fire, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
A 31-year-old man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition after being shot in his neck and spine. A 24-year-old was listed in stable condition at St. Mary's Hospital after being shot in his calf, said Sedevic.
No one is in custody for the shooting, Sedevic said.
