HUMBOLDT PARK— One teenage boy and two teenage girls were shot in Humboldt Park Thursday evening.

About 6:40 p.m., the three teens were shot in the 800 block of North St. Louis Avenue, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokesman.

A 16-year-old boy, 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl were standing on the sidewalk when someone inside a passing white van opened fire, Sedevic said.

The boy was shot in his right thigh and was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition. The 14-year-old girl was shot in her leg and also taken to Mount Sinai where she was listed in stable condition, Sedevic said.

The 15-year-old girl suffered a graze wound in her right thigh and was transported by her family to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
