NORWOOD PARK — Oriole Park Elementary School will hold a spaghetti dinner Friday to raise money for its educational foundation.

The cost for the dinner catered by Rex Italian Foods is $8 for adults and children older than 2. It will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the school's gym, 5424 N. Oketo Ave.

The proceeds from the event will be used to support programs at the overcrowded Norwood Park school, which will get an addition in time for the start of next school year, organizers said.

The dinner is designed to allow attendees to get to know their children's classmates and meet other families whose children attend the school, organizers said.

A children's toy and a 50/50 raffle will take place to raise money for the school.

Tickets must be purchased by Wednesday.
