Grocer True Nature Foods Opens Cafe

EDGEWATER — Organic grocer True Nature Foods now sells sandwiches and salads alongside its popular smoothies and juices.

The grocery store, at 6034 North Broadway, announced its new offerings Friday on its website.

The menu includes a $9 breakfast Reuben sandwich, with egg or tofu and seitan bacon; the $6 "Gypsy Queen," with hummus, tomato, red onion, cucumber and sunflower sprouts on a whole wheat pita; and the $10 "Luna Burger," featuring the Amazing Kale Burger.

Salads include the $8 "Pele," with spinach, kale and a five-spice tofu; the $8 "Garden Nymph," with goji berries and rosemary popcorn croutons; and the $6 "Queen Bee," with fresh-cut fruit and a gluten-free cornmeal muffin.

True Nature is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays through Fridays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays.
