Three Dead, 17 Wounded in Weekend Violence

CHICAGO — Three people were killed and another 17 were injured in shootings across the city over the weekend.

In the most recent shooting, a 25-year-old man was shot and killed in Belmont Cragin around 6:45 p.m. Sunday.

From Friday night into Saturday, two people were killed and eight people were wounded in incidents that included a shooting in Gresham that left 20-year-old man dead and a teen wounded.

From Saturday into Sunday, another nine people were wounded in shootings.
