CHICAGO — Shootings Wednesday night in Englewood and East Garfield Park wounded two teens.

The most recent shooting happened around 10:10 p.m. in the 6300 block of South Claremont Avenue in Englewood, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

A 17-year-old boy was standing on the corner when someone shot him his leg. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, which is believed to be gang-related, Sedevic said.

Around 9:15 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot multiple times by a man wearing a grey hoodie as he stood in the 3900 block of West Wilcox Street. The teen was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition after being shot in his stomach and buttocks, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Sedevic said.
