NORWOOD PARK — A Far Northwest Side nonprofit group is looking for volunteers to deliver meals to homebound seniors.

The Norwood Senior Network needs volunteers Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to deliver hot and cold meals throughout the Far Northwest Side and nearby suburbs. Each route takes about one to two hours to complete, and volunteers must have their own vehicle and insurance.

Volunteers also check on the health of the seniors as they drop off the meals, officials said.

Volunteers can work once per week, once a month or three days per week, officials said.

For more information, call Director of Volunteer Services Kate Roche at 773-577-5329, or fill out an online application.
