ROSCOE VILLAGE — You may have heard that drinking a glass of red wine a day is good for the heart, but did you know that buying pink wine by the bottle could help cure cancer?

During October — Breast Cancer Awareness Month — the Roscoe Village and West Town locations of Lush Wine & Spirits will donate a dollar for every bottle of pink wine purchased to the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.

The "drink pink" promotion will feature a designated rack of staff favorite blush wines at a variety of price points.

For those who still think of rosé as the tutti-fruity cousin to more sophisticated reds and whites, check out Wine Folly's guide to pink varietals — there's even a suggestion for the "manly man."

Shop Lush at 2232 W. Roscoe St. or 1412 W. Chicago Ave.
