LOGAN SQUARE — A man was seriously injured early Saturday morning after a hit-and-run, authorities said.

The victim’s Saturn coupe was traveling north on Rockwell Street in Logan Square when a Dodge Charger that was eastbound on Cortland Avenue went through a stop sign and crashed into the Saturn at 1:38 a.m, authorities said.

The 23-year-old victim was taken to Illinois Masonic in serious but stable condition and a passenger in his vehicle refused medical treatment on the scene, police said.

The owner of the Charger drove off, police said. No one is currently in custody.
