CHICAGO — A 22-year-old woman was shot Wednesday night in Humboldt Park.

Around 10:20 p.m., the 22-year-old woman was standing on the sidewalk in the 3900 block of West Thomas Street when a dark colored vehicle approached and shots were fired, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The woman was taken to Mount Sinai after being shot in the abdomen. She was listed in stable condition, Sedevic said.
