Simian Mobile Disco at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

The duo Simian Mobile Disco will perform their album "Whorl" at Lincoln Hall. The opening act for the 21-and-over show will be Prostitutes. Tickets are $20.

Animal Chat at Lincoln Park Zoo, 2001 N. Clark St., 3 p.m.

This week's members-only animal chat is "Rhinos: Courtship, Conservation and Care." Learn how the zoo prepared for King, the newest black rhino addition. Participants should check in at the north end of the Harris Family Foundation Black Rhinoceros Exhibit. This event is for zoo members only.

"Last Comic Standing" Showcase at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., 8:30 p.m.

Head to Zanies to see 20 local comedians show off their best material for the opportunity to appear on Season 9 of "Last Comic Standing." Tickets for the show are $10 with the minimum purchase of two food or drink items.
