KENWOOD — Film crews were bustling in and out of a four-story apartment building across the street from Barack Obama’s house on Tuesday.

Crews spent the day filming interior scenes of television comedy “Sirens” at 1019 E. Hyde Park Blvd., across Hyde Park Boulevard from Obama’s home at 5046 S. Greenwood Ave.

Stars Michael Mosley, Kevin Daniels and Kevin Bigley were strolling around in front of the building in costume around noon as crews stopped for a lunch break up the block outside the Rainbow PUSH headquarters, 930 E. 50th St.

The show, a comedy about three self-destructive paramedics in Chicago, was picked up for a second season in June.

Filming was scheduled to wrap up in the early evening on Tuesday.
