Two Men Shot in West Englewood

CHICAGO — Two men standing on the sidewalk were shot Wednesday night in West Englewood, police said.

The shooting occurred around 9:20 p.m. when the men were standing in the 6100 block of South Carpenter Street, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

The 33-year-old was struck in his left knee and drove himself to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was listed in good condition. The 37-year-old man was struck in his leg and also taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
