CHICAGO — Two people were killed and 13 people were wounded in shootings since Friday night, including a man shot Monday morning on the South Side.
The most recent shooting occurred around 3:45 a.m. in the 200 block of West 118th Street in West Pullman. A 28-year-old man was shot in his ribcage and left arm while standing on the block. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.
A man was fatally shot in North Lawndale Sunday afternoon.
Six people were wounded in shootings from Saturday night into Sunday morning. A man was shot by police after running over an officer.
From Friday night into Saturday, seven people were shot, including a man fatally shot in Bronzeville.
