WEST PULLMAN —The Black McDonald’s Operators Association is sponsoring an end-of-the-summer party that will include a performance by R&B group Jagged Edge.

The free event begins at 6 p.m. Thursday at The Legacy, 11901 S. Loomis St., with the concert beginning at 7 p.m. You must be 21 years old to attend, and food and drinks, including alcohol, will be sold.

Remaining tickets to attend the event will be available between 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald’s, 11421 S. Halsted St., or by registering online with V-103 FM.

Derrick Taylor, president of the association, which is a made up of 14 Chicago- and Northwest Indiana-area McDonald’s restaurant owners, said the event is designed to excite and engage customers around summer fun at McDonald’s.

"This is our way for thanking the many loyal McDonald's customers," Taylor said. "We really appreciate their business."
