CHICAGO — Blue Line trains are running again after a derailment let the CTA to halt service for two hours Wednesday morning, the CTA said.

Shortly after 7 a.m. Monday, the CTA stopped all trains between the Cicero and Western stations on the Blue Line due to a derailment near the Pulaski stop.

CTA spokeswoman Tammy Chase said a Blue Line train headed toward the Loop derailed after one wheel slipped off the track around 7:15 a.m. No injuries have been reported.

Trains were running only in two sections as a result of the derailment: between Forest Park and Cicero, and between Western and O'Hare.

The CTA recommended regular Blue Line riders use the following buses instead: the No. 7 Harrison, the No. 12 Roosevelt, the No. 126 Jackson or the No. 53 Pulaski.

Residual delays are expected throughout the morning.
