NEAR WEST SIDE — Ald. Bob Fioretti (2nd) will take a break from mulling his possible mayoral run Sunday, Sept. 14 to lead a pack of his constituents on his annual Bike the 2nd Ward ride.
Starting at 9 a.m. at Fairlife, 1001 W. Adams St., Fioretti will lead a 17-mile bike ride through his Downtown and Near West Side Ward, followed by lunch and music.
It will be the last tour of the 2nd Ward looking as it does now, before new district boundaries take effect in in 2015 that almost completely redraw the area containing Fioretti's previous seat.
