CHICAGO — A 58-year-old man was shot early Wednesday in Wicker Park, police said.

The man was standing outside in the 2300 block of West North Avenue about 3:15 a.m. when a dark-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside opened fire, grazing the man's head.

The driver fled westbound on North Avenue and the man was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
