LINCOLN SQUARE — Nothing against bacon, but pork is more than a one-trick meat.

Neighboring Lincoln Square restaurants are going whole hog on a pork edition of The Sunnyside of Lincoln Avenue block party, celebrating the pig from loin to shoulder, belly to back.

Bistro Campagne, Due Lire and The Grafton will be serving up pork-inspired dishes, along with cocktails, wine and craft beer, from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 15.

Ticketholders will be allowed to move back and forth between the restaurants with their food and beverages, as well as pop into Homesoul and Century 21 during extended hours for more drinks and live music.

The event capacity is 125. Tickets cost $45 — good for two dishes and two drinks at each restaurant — and can be bought online.

Expected menu items include Choucroute Garnie from Bistro Campagne, 4518 N. Lincoln Ave. Translation: an apple cider-glazed whole roasted pig stuffed with house made sausage, apples, cabbage, new potatoes and herbs.

Due Lire, 4520 N. Lincoln Ave., is cooking up a wild boar ragu served with pasta, and The Grafton, 4530 N. Lincoln Ave., will have mini pork shoulder sandwiches.
